Britney Morgan founded Rewind That! from a deeply personal desire to help people celebrate, learn and preserve Black culture across generations.

Growing up, Black culture was woven into the fabric of everyday life—from Soul Train and UPN to Saturday-morning R&B while cleaning up and family reunions, etc. As an adult, Britney recognized how often the history, context, and stories behind our cultural touchpoints were missing, overlooked, or misrepresented.

Motherhood made that realization even more urgent. She wanted her children to inherit not only the music, television, traditions, language, and joy of Black culture, but also the stories and knowledge that give those experiences meaning.

Rewind That! brings that mission to life through interactive games and live social experiences that turn Black culture into something people can actively play, discover, debate, and celebrate together year-round.

A former multimedia journalist and product executive, Britney has spent more than a decade building technology and experiences that expand access, encourage participation, and create connection. Today, she brings that background to Rewind That! with a simple belief: the best way to preserve culture is to make it part of everyday life—something people not only consume, but actively experience, learn and celebrate together.
